Back to normal? (almost)
Start of a new year. And this year that means back to a more normal life for me.
Results
I saved 62% of my income in January. Sounds decent at first but I did not pay any rent this month (this was part of the December expenses). So with that in mind I must have had some bigger expenses.
And I had. I bought ‘stuff’ for my apartment. And the personal expense category is also in the high end as I pre-paid some of the expenses for a small ski trip.
Overall I’m fine with my expenses this month. I still don’t feel like I’m back to a stable state where I can compare month to month expenses. But I’m getting there I think.
It’s been quite a few months now that I have not really been able to make much sense of my expenses. And where I have been more relaxed about spending. I have loved that journey and I wonder what it will be like to settle back in to a much more stable rhythm.
It will be good for my finances I’m sure. And I hope it will be good for the rest of my life too.
